Mr. Anton Mari G Perdices is the Chief Operating Officer of the AboitizPower Distribution Utilities. Collectively the Distribution Utilities of AboitizPower is the second largest in the Philippines servicing over 1 Million customers from the regions of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The AboitizPower distribution utilities are Visayan Electric, Davao Light, Cotabato Light and the EnerZones. Anton oversees the growth and profitability of the distribution utilities while ensuring efficiencies, quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Anton often refers to the distribution utility business as a privilege as such, he ensures that the customer’s need for reliable and affordable energy are met at all times.

Anton also serves as the President and Chairman of Aboitiz Construction Inc., one of the most reliable and respected industrial contractors in the Philippines. It is one of the few Philippine contractors with a very wide range of experience in major engineering & construction projects. With over 47 years in the construction business, it is capable of undertaking conceptualization to execution and commissioning, from earth moving to marine structures, from petrochemical to word-class resort, from warehouses to office buildings and more.

Ignatius Rendroyoko (Member, IEEE) (Member, IEEE) was born in Semarang, Indonesia in 1970. He graduated from the Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB), Indonesia in 1994 and served as an electrical engineer in PLN since 1995. After completing his M.Eng.Sc. Degree in Monash University - Australia in 2002, he is currently active in power distribution technology and implementation asset management and smart grid development initiatives in PLN. In 2022 he completed his PhD. program in ITB in research field on the integration of the renewable power generation with intermittent characteristics in microgrid power system. He currently continues to pursue research in the fields of metering systems, energy transition, smart grids, renewable generation integration, and asset management.

I have worked as a power system planner in PEA for 26 years. My responsibilities are to set up sub-transmission and distribution system projects for serving demand growth and improving power system reliability, to perform conceptual design according to PEA planning criteria, to do feasibility studies consisting of technical analysis, power flow studies, short circuit analysis, alternative analysis, economic and financial analysis, and to arrange any procedures for selecting a consultant for technical assistance. During 2010-2015, as a member of Planning Committee of PEA Smart Grid Development, its responsibility was to consider and propose the suitable PEA smart grid projects to the committee before going to PEA Board of Directors for approval. In 2018-2022, I was assigned as Manager of Pattaya Smart Grid Project. Nowadays I am still working on Smart Grid and Grid Modernization for PEA.
