Andrea Pivatello
Andrea is responsible for the development and deployment of INNIO Group’s high-efficiency, low-carbon distributed Jenbacher power solutions for industrial, district energy, and utility customers.
With over 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, Andrea leads technical-commercial initiatives covering on-site generation, cogeneration (CHP/CCHP), microgrids, hybrid renewable systems, and advanced power solutions, while supporting customers in improving energy efficiency, resilience, and decarbonization.
Andrea’s expertise spans gas engine power plants, tri-generation, battery storage, demand-side optimization, and hydrogen technologies, including green hydrogen production and safety engineering. He is also actively involved in the decarbonization of hard-to-electrify sectors, such as shore power (cold ironing) for ports and EV charging infrastructure, where he helps integrate on-site generation and hybrid energy systems to ensure reliable, low-carbon power supply. Andrea has recently completed the Executive Program in Energy Management at the POLIMI Graduate School of Management.
