About APPI (Indonesian Electrical Equipment Manufacturers Association)

Electricity plays a critical and strategic role in achieving Indonesia’s national development objectives. As such, the supporting electrical equipment industry must continue to strengthen and expand in line with the nation’s development needs, ensuring the provision of sufficient, equitable, and high-quality electrical infrastructure.

Indonesian electrical equipment manufacturers are expected to work collaboratively and support one another based on shared interests, enabling the industry to effectively address future business challenges and opportunities. At the national level, manufacturers are encouraged not only to collaborate closely with key stakeholders in contributing to the development of Indonesia’s power sector, but also to take an active role in shaping regulations and policies related to the electricity industry.

At the international level, manufacturers are expected to actively engage with global developments and advancements in power systems by fostering partnerships and cooperation with international organisations and industry stakeholders.

As manufacturers whose core business is the production of electrical equipment, members remain committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, occupational health, and environmental sustainability. Accordingly, they are dedicated to supporting and implementing all relevant national and international standards, regulations, policies, and legislation governing these areas throughout their operations.

To enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their collective contributions to the industry, electrical equipment manufacturers have united under a common platform for collaboration, coordination, and representation through the Indonesian Electrical Equipment Manufacturers Association (APPI).
