National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA)

The Cybersecurity Act B.E. 2562 came into effect on May 28, 2019, with the objective of establishing policies, measures, and guidelines for cybersecurity for both governmental and private sector entities that are critical information infrastructure. The Act aims to prevent, mitigate, and reduce risks from cyber threats to ensure national security and domestic peace. Additionally, it designates the National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) as the responsible authority for implementing the Act and coordinating efforts between the public and private sectors, whether in general situations or in cases of severe security threats, to effectively defend against and respond to cyber threats.

In terms of system security, managing cyber threats is a critical concern for every organization. Cyber attacks, such as data breaches, malware distribution, and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, can impact both user data and service reliability. Implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) and data encryption can effectively reduce the risk of such attacks.
