Yatindra Dwivedi
Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi is Director (Personnel) of POWERGRID, having assumed this position in Aug-23. He is a seasoned HR leader with over 35 years of experience in human resource management, organizational development, and strategic transformation.
Prior to this role, he served as Executive Director (HR) at POWERGRID, where he handled several critical assignments and consistently delivered results in a dynamic business environment. He has played a key role in aligning HR strategy with business objectives and driving organizational growth.
Dr. Dwivedi has led major initiatives, including SAP implementation, HR digitization, and workforce readiness for the future of work, with a focus on building an agile and resilient organization. He has also driven the adoption of AI/ML-based applications across HR and other functions. Under his leadership, POWERGRID received the prestigious ATD BEST Award 2024 for its strategic approach to talent development.
He began his career with Hindalco Industries and joined POWERGRID in 1993. He holds an engineering degree from IIT Roorkee, a PGDIE from NITIE Mumbai (now IIM Mumbai), a PGDM from MDI Gurgaon, and a PhD in Management.
