Wei Nan Yew
Wei Nan is responsible for driving the strategy for demand creation, commercial and development activities for new built combined cycle power plant, based on heavy duty gas turbines and simple cycle power plant, based aero derivatives gas turbines. This includes strategic equity partnership for development of power plants and pilots
He has more than 30 years’ experience in the total project life cycle, from development, sales, commercial, design, test and commissioning of power plants and electrical systems, in various roles in GE, Schneider Electric and Caterpillar prime movers. He’s also been involved in the whole value chain of electrical system ecosystem, from Generation, Transmission and Distribution in the various roles that he has took on, specifically power plants, EMS/DMS systems, electrical protection system and MV/LV systems.
From a sustainability perspective, GE Vernova is actively involved in both pre-combustion and post-combustion technology solution to reduce both carbon and greenhouse gas emission to electrify and decarbonize the world.
