Vigneswaran Sellakannu
Vigneswaran Sellakannu leads Grid Planning, Strategy and Transition at SP Group, which operates Singapore's electricity transmission and distribution network, keeping Singapore's power grid reliable and ready to support future growth. He also serves on the board of Power Automation, an SP Group subsidiary that provides power system control, substation automation and sustainable energy solutions.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy, infrastructure, hospitality and public sectors. Prior to SP Group, he held a regional leadership role at TotalEnergies, where he was involved in renewable energy strategy and investments across Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, he worked on investment and development projects with Hotel Properties Limited, COMO Hotels & Resorts and PSA International. He began his career supporting foreign investment promotion at the Singapore Economic Development Board.
He trained as a telecommunications engineer in France and is an Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors.
