Tony Susandy
Tony Susandy, S.T., M.B.A. is the Director for Renewable Energy at the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (DG NREEC), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), Republic of Indonesia. He leads the formulation and implementation of national policies, technical standards, and regulatory frameworks for renewable energy development, covering solar, hydropower, wind, marine, and other renewable energy sources, excluding geothermal and bioenergy. He also oversees investment facilitation, business services and supervision, technical and environmental governance, and the development of supporting renewable energy infrastructure.
With extensive experience in energy policy and international cooperation, Mr. Susandy actively promotes strategic partnerships to accelerate renewable energy deployment. He is committed to advancing Indonesia's clean energy transition, strengthening national energy security, and supporting the country's long-term ambition to achieve net-zero emissions through sustainable and inclusive energy development.
