Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thawatchai Onjun is the Executive Director of the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT) and a distinguished experienced researcher. With a Ph.D. in Physics from Lehigh University, his career spans high-impact research in tokamak modeling, leadership in fusion energy development, and strategic oversight of national nuclear projects. Moreover, he has served in key roles across academia and government, including advisory positions on Thailand’s experimental tokamak (TT-1), research reactor programs, and Small Modular Reactor (SMR) assessments.
