Syaiful Bakhri
Prof. Dr. Syaiful Bakhri serves as the Chairman of the Research Organization for Nuclear Energy at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada and obtained both his Master's and Doctoral degrees from The University of Adelaide, Australia.
With more than two decades of experience in nuclear science and engineering, his expertise includes nuclear reactor safety, small modular reactors (SMRs), nuclear fuel cycle technology, aging management of nuclear facilities, and nuclear energy systems development. He has held several leadership positions within BATAN and BRIN, including Head of the Research Center for Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Radioactive Waste Technology and Head of the Research Center for Nuclear Materials and Radioactive Waste.
Prof. Syaiful has actively participated in international collaborations and research projects with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and has authored numerous publications in reputable journals. He is dedicated to advancing nuclear technology for sustainable.
