Dr. Somyot Tantipattarakul received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Southampton, a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from Chulalongkorn University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok. He is a Project Manager at Energy Solutions Platform Department, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). Prior to the current role, Dr. Somyot served as transformer maintenance engineer, postdoctoral researcher in advanced polymeric insulation and global technology scouter. Earlier, Dr. Somyot has been focused on energy solutions via energy management and energy efficiency systems cooperating with renewable energy, BESS, microgrid, IoTs, AI and platforms.
