Dr. Satoshi Hada is Senior Vice President of the GTCC Business Division of Energy Systems and General Manager of the Gas Turbine Engineering Department at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI). A certified Professional Engineer and expert in turbine design, he brings deep technical expertise and engineering leadership to advance high-efficiency, next-generation gas turbines.
Dr. Hada has over 25 years of experience, which includes leading major R&D efforts such as Japan’s 1700°C-class gas turbine national project and the development of Mitsubishi Power’s J-type and JAC-type turbines, with a focus on design innovation and turbine blade technology.
