Sam Stephens is Director and Head of Digital for AtkinsRéalis's Nuclear sector, where he leads the development and deployment of digital engineering, artificial intelligence, data platforms, and advanced delivery technologies across complex infrastructure sectors. With over two decades of experience spanning nuclear energy, power, defence, and critical national infrastructure, Samuel helps organisations transform how they design, deliver, operate, and maintain major programmes.
He is a recognised leader in the application of digital twins, AI-enabled engineering, simulation, knowledge management, and collaborative delivery platforms, working with industry partners, technology providers, research institutions, and government agencies around the world. Samuel has been instrumental in shaping strategies that integrate cloud, data, and AI technologies into engineering workflows, enabling safer, faster, and more sustainable project outcomes.
