Rizal Bagja Wiguna received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2016, and the M.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya, Indonesia, in 2025.
He is currently an Assistant Manager with the Department of Operation Construction, PT PLN (Persero) UIP Kalbagtim, Balikpapan, Indonesia, where he is responsible for the engineering design and construction of substation and high-voltage transmission projects across Kalimantan. His research interests include insulation coordination, lightning protection, and transmission line reliability.
