Rian Prima Hardiyanto
Rian Prima Hardiyanto is an energy professional at PT PLN (Persero), currently serving as Executive Secretary to the General Manager of PLN UID Yogyakarta. He has extensive experience in the electricity sector, with interests spanning power systems, energy transition, electricity markets, corporate finance, and public policy.
Rian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) and a Master’s degree in Management (Finance) from Universitas Gadjah Mada, as well as a Master’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering from Universitas Indonesia. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Public Policy at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
His professional and research interests focus on sustainable energy transition, energy security, electricity market governance, renewable energy integration, smart grids, and innovative business models supporting Indonesia’s transition toward a reliable, affordable, and low-carbon energy system.
