Ignatius Rendroyoko (Member, IEEE) was born in Semarang, Indonesia in 1970. He graduated from the Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB), Indonesia in 1994 and served as an electrical engineer in PLN since 1995. After completing his M.Eng.Sc. Degree in Monash University - Australia in 2002, he is currently active in power distribution technology and implementation asset management and smart grid development initiatives in PLN. In 2022 he completed his PhD. program in ITB in research field on the integration of the renewable power generation with intermittent characteristics in microgrid power system. He currently serves as EVP of distribution strategic planning at PT PLN (Persero), responsible for planning the development of advanced distribution management systems, development of electricity supply, distribution automation, advanced metering systems, distribution system efficiency, and implementation of energy transition in utility companies.Â
