Pongpranod Ukaew
Pongpranod Ukaew is currently the construction electrical engineer of the Power Plant Management and Construction Division of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). With almost a decade of experience in both efficiency and construction of power plant since traditional type: combined cycle with natural gas to renewable ones: grounded solar photovoltaic with battery energy storage system.
Throughout his employment, he played a key role in implementing real-time power plant’s operation and efficiency monitoring system and driving it to be for operational improvements. Regarding recent move to construction phase, his important roles was to control construction work quality through to implement best engineering practices in the project. Career aside, he holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Energy Transition from Asian Institute of Technology completely sponsored by Royal Thai Government (RTG) Fellowships and additional holds the Energy Control System Auditor certification.
