Nyoman G. Prawira Negara
Nyoman Gede Prawira Negara serves as Vice President of Various Energy at PT PLN (Persero), Indonesia’s state electricity utility, and previously served as Vice President of Risk and Compliance at PT PLN Batam. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a practitioner in renewable energy project development and procurement, with experience in procurement strategy, Request for Proposal design, and Power Purchase Agreement frameworks. His work covers technical, commercial, financial, and risk considerations for solar PV, wind, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and other renewable energy projects. He has also published research on ESG disclosure, firm performance, risk, and firm value. Throughout his career, he has been involved in cross-functional initiatives supporting renewable energy development, risk management, governance, and the implementation of projects aligned with Indonesia’s energy transition and sustainability objectives.
