Nur Ashila Mandiar
Nur Ashila Binti Mandiar is a Senior Electrical Engineer with over nine years of experience at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), specializing in Area Network Planning and power system development. She currently serves as a Senior Engineer in Area Network Planning, where she leads strategic grid planning and system studies to assess network readiness for high-demand customers and major infrastructure developments.
Her expertise includes power system analysis using PSS/E, N-1 contingency assessment, voltage stability, fault level analysis, and the development of network mitigation strategies to ensure reliable and resilient power supply. She has been actively involved in planning grid infrastructure for hyperscale data centres, including major developments in Kuala Lumpur and the Southern Region.
Her professional interests also extend to grid sustainability, renewable energy integration, and long-term network development. She holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) from Universiti Malaya and a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
