Nicholas Phillips
Nick Phillips is the APAC technical sales lead at Itron, where he provides strategic advice, business solution offerings and technical consultancy across the region. His current focus is on transforming Itron’s diverse product portfolio into actionable business insights, driving innovation and resource efficiency across the industry.
With a nearly 30-year career in the electric utility industry, Nick has a proven track record of delivering complex solutions to utilities and government-regulated entities, specifically in the areas of electricity metering and settlements.
Nick’s career began in Power Systems Modelling research before he transitioned into the commercial sector. Throughout his career, he has designed and built bespoke systems for major utilities in both the United Kingdon and Australia and has provided expert consulting services through leading firms such as Logica, CGI and Capgemini. In recent years, Nick expanded his expertise beyond electricity to include gas and water systems, smart streetlights and city sensor applications.
