Naufal Haq
Naufal Haq is a digital transformation specialist with expertise in smart grid development, AI integration, and IoT-driven innovation. He currently serves as a Digital Transformation Analyst at Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in Jakarta (Jan 2024 – Present), where he has designed the Smart Grid Adoption Roadmap, implemented large-scale supply chain optimization initiatives, developed and launched the PV Rooftop Bundle. He has also advanced IoT-based distribution systems through Edge Computing Units, enhancing grid efficiency, monitoring, and renewable energy integration.
Previously, he was a Business Consultant Associate at Ernst & Young in Jakarta (Dec 2022 – Jan 2024), where he conducted assessments of distributor management systems, optimized ERP processes using SAP, and executed business process re-engineering projects across eight business streams. Earlier in his career, he gained international project experience with the Warwick Manufacturing Group in the UK (Nov 2021 – Sep 2022), working on student-led project.
Academically, Naufal earned his MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick (2021–2022) and his Bachelor’s in Metallurgical and Material Engineering from Universitas Indonesia (2016–2020). His professional contributions extend to international conferences such as ENLIT Asia 2024 and the International Meeting on Advances in Metallurgy and Materials (2020).
Naufal’s achievements include being awarded the LPDP Scholarship (full tuition) by the Ministry of Finance and the WMG Excellence Scholarship (partial) by the University of Warwick. He also holds professional certifications in Machine Learning and AI (Imperial College London, 2025), Digital Talent Scholarship (Ministry of Technology, 2021), and Database Design and Programming with SQL (Oracle Academy, 2021).
