Nateekool Kriangchaiporn
Dr. Nateekool Kriangchaiporn is a Senior Nuclear Engineer (Engineer Level 10) in the Power Plant Engineering Division at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). With over 15 years of experience, she is a leading figure in Thailand’s nuclear power project development, bringing deep expertise in nuclear engineering, strategic project planning, and technology assessment. Dr. Kriangchaiporn has been instrumental in pre-feasibility studies, nuclear human resource development, and reactor technology evaluations—contributing significantly to the readiness of Thailand’s nuclear infrastructure.
She earned both her Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, USA, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kasetsart University, Thailand. Beyond her technical role, Dr. Kriangchaiporn serves on several high-level committees and sub-committees, including Thailand’s SMR Project Preparation Committee and Corporate Strategy Sub-Committee for the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology, where she helps shape national nuclear policy and readiness.
Her international training portfolio includes programs with the IAEA and US Department of Energy, focusing on SMR site characterization, reactor technology assessment, and nuclear power infrastructure financing and risk allocation—underscoring her commitment to global standards and collaboration in nuclear development.
