Ir. Muhammad Shahir bin Norazman is an electrical engineer with over seven years of experience in distribution network operations, maintenance planning, asset management and reliability improvement at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). He currently serves in the Project Management Office (PMO), Distribution Network, contributing to the review and development of a future-ready operating model, with focus areas including productivity and cost performance, predictive maintenance strategies and contractor management optimisation. Previously, as Senior Engineer Maintenance Planner 11kV, he led data-driven maintenance initiatives and played a pivotal role in the Grouping Sensitive Customers project in Batu Berendam, which achieved a 70% reduction in power quality and power reliability complaints through strategic network reconfiguration. He is a Professional Engineer (Ir.), Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM), Certified Energy Manager (AEMAS), Corporate Member of IEM, and holds a First-Class Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
