Muhammad Helmi Prakoso
Helmi is a renewable energy professional with more than 10 years of experience in utility-scale project development, techno-economic analysis, and energy transition strategy within PLN Group, Indonesia. He currently leads generation business development within PLN Group, conducting feasibility and investment assessments for renewable energy projects including hydropower, floating solar PV, and battery energy storage systems. Helmi holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, graduating with Distinction, and a BSc in Electrical Power Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, graduating Cum Laude. His research spans green hydrogen development, renewable energy financing, power systems, and energy market mechanisms, with over a dozen papers published across IEEE and international conferences and journals. He was awarded the LPDP–PLN Higher Education Scholarship to pursue his postgraduate studies. Helmi is committed to advancing Indonesia's energy transition through evidence-based, techno-economic approaches to renewable infrastructure development.
