Kotaro Miyauchi
Kotaro Miyauchi is Deputy General Manager of the Gas Turbine Engineering Department at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI). He is responsible for gas turbine development, including next-generation models, reliability enhancement, operational performance, and decarbonization technologies such as hydrogen- and ammonia-fired gas turbines.
With more than 25 years of experience in the gas turbine industry, he has deep expertise in gas turbine development, operation, and low-carbon combustion technologies. Since joining MHI in 1997, he has contributed to the development, validation and commissioning of advanced gas turbine technologies at Takasago Machinery Works. His experience includes high-performance combined-cycle power projects in Vietnam, Taiwan and Thailand.
He previously served as Manager of the Gas Turbine Combustor Engineering Group, leading the development and reliability improvement of J-Class and F-Class combustors.
Miyauchi holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo University of Science.
