Melody Gita Mahardhika Oratmangun
Melody is a Policy Advisor at the GIZ Energy Programme, where her work focuses primarily on energy planning and strategic policy documents, renewable energy procurement, bioenergy and hydrogen regulations, and other policies supporting Indonesia's energy transition. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, with a concentration in Energy and Environment, and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the Universitas Indonesia. Before joining GIZ, Melody built a diverse background spanning consulting, development, and the private sector, with experience at organizations such as the UNDP, EY, New Energy Nexus, and Shell. This mix of strategic advisory, international development, and corporate experience shapes her approach to energy policy work.
