Marshall Virgin Supit
Marshall Virgin Supit is a Business Planning Manager at PLN UIW Papua and Papua Barat with more than 10 years of experience in Indonesia’s electricity sector. His expertise includes business planning, power system planning, renewable energy integration, techno-economic analysis, and business performance management.
He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and has authored several IEEE publications on renewable energy and rural electrification. He received Third Place in PLN’s National Innovation for the HelioGrid project, an innovative solar-powered energy access solution that supports decentralized electrification and Indonesia’s clean energy transition.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to strategic business planning, electricity demand forecasting, investment planning, and the deployment of isolated solar photovoltaic (PV) systems integrated with battery energy storage to electrify remote villages across Papua.
