Kornphat Srisuping
Kornphat Srisuping is the Assistant Director of Power System Planning Division-2 at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), bringing over 18 years of expertise in power system and strategic planning. His core specializations include generation capacity expansion modeling, economic analysis, and business transformation. Currently, Mr. Srisuping leads efforts in power development planning, grid modernization, and renewable energy grid integration assessment.
His past roles include serving as Chief of Generation System Development Planning (2021–2024), where he oversaw long-term fuel supply projections and renewable integration, and as Chief of the Strategic Planning Department (2019–2020), where he managed scenario analysis and strategic business transformation.
Kornphat Srisuping holds a Master of Engineering Studies in Energy Planning and Policy from the University of Technology, Sydney. He has also completed several prestigious programs, including the Executive Energy Program at Thailand’s Institute of Industrial Energy, a High-Level Workshop on Novel Nuclear Power Technologies at King’s College London, and a training on Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, and Market Liberalization organized by the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce in Germany.
