Komgrit Kotephat is the Chief of the Power Plant Maitenance department at Namphong Power Plant, under the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). With extensive expertise in maintaining power plant electrical, mechanical, control and instrumentation systems, he has progressively advanced through key engineering and leadership roles at EGAT. A proven project leader, Komgrit currently serves as Project Manager for the life-extension renovation of the Namphong Power Plant. He is leading the initiative to updgrade the facility - which has been in operation for over 35 years ensuring its continued operation until 2031 in alignment with the natural gas purchase agreement. He has also been recognised with a Gold Award at theThailand Research Expo 2023 for his contributions to mobile power plant innovations. Komgrit holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Economics from Khon Kean University, He is consistenly recognised as a high-potential leader within EGAT's talent programs.
