Karnati Varun Reddy
Mr. Varun Reddy is a 2019 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Telangana cadre. An alumnus of IIT Bombay with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering (2013), he holds a research patent in Cloud Computing. Known for his impactful work in tribal and aspirational districts, he served as Additional Collector in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad and Project Officer, ITDA Utnoor, where he led initiatives in livelihood generation, education, nutrition, and tribal empowerment. As District Collector, Nirmal, he implemented several award-winning projects including rainwater harvesting and tribal MSMEs. Since December 2023, he has been serving as Chairman & Managing Director, TGNPDCL, providing strategic leadership. For his outstanding work, he received the Good Governance Award from the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana on Republic Day 2025.
