Kanchana Kitdee
Kanchana Kitidee is the Head of Nuclear Reactor Section at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). I hold a degree in Nuclear Technology Engineering and have more than 15 years of experience at EGAT.
My work focuses on supporting EGAT's readiness for future nuclear power development, with responsibilities covering nuclear reactor technology, radiation protection, licensing and regulatory readiness, and human resource development.
I am actively involved in initiatives related to nuclear infrastructure development, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building, working closely with government agencies, industry partners, academic institutions, and international organizations to support Thailand's long-term nuclear energy goals.
I am also committed to public communication and outreach, helping to enhance understanding of nuclear power and nuclear safety among communities, students, and the general public. Through these efforts, I contribute to building public confidence and fostering informed discussions on the future role of nuclear energy in Thailand.
