John Ammentorp
John Ammentorp is Arup's Global Energy Leader, responsible for leading the firm's global energy business and helping clients navigate the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition.
With 25 years of experience in the energy sector, John has led multidisciplinary teams and complex infrastructure programmes across Europe and globally. He brings extensive expertise in transmission and distribution grids, wind and solar, BESS and integrated energy systems and business leadership. Before joining Arup, he was Global Service Line Director for Industry and Infrastructure at Ramboll, with responsibility for energy and transport activities across global markets.
Based in Copenhagen, he works across Arup's global network to deliver integrated solutions spanning energy generation, transmission, distribution and broader infrastructure systems.
