Intan Kumala Sari is a Power System Professional with 14 years of experience at PLN Batam Indonesia. Specializing in Power System Operations, Performance Monitoring, Reliability, Asset Management and Grid Code Implementation. She currently supports the Operation Division at PLN Batam of isolated Power System one of Indonesia’s Fastest growing electricity Markets, where reliability, fuel security, renewable integration, and rising demand from industrial and data center developments are critical challenges.In addition to her industry role, Intan has served as a lecturer in Electrical Engineering since 2014 and ever being a Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program 2021-2024. strengthening the connection between academic knowledge and real operational practice. Her professional interests include reliability and flexibility planning, gas supply uncertainty, energy transition, and resilient island power systems. Through Enlit Asia, she aims to share practical insights from Batam and contribute to important regional discussions on building more reliable, adaptive, and sustainable power systems.
