George Djohan
George Djohan serves as the Country Director for GE Vernova’s Gas Power business in Indonesia, overseeing market development and commercial strategy. With over 20 years of energy industry experience, George leads his team in delivering world-class solutions for Indonesia’s significant base of over 200 GE Vernova gas and steam turbines, including the strategic Bandung repair facility.
Since joining GE in 2008, George has held various roles, including Customer Application Engineer and Senior Sales Account Manager, before stepping into his current leadership position in 2015.
A Purdue University mechanical engineering graduate with a minor in Economics, he also holds a Professional Engineer License in Michigan. Early in his career, he contributed to the design and construction of several large-scale U.S. power plants.
