Frederic Carron wants to see more new, sustainable global energy systems being developed in the world. By helping to accelerate the transition towards renewable energy in Asia and the Middle East, Frederic is trying to do his share to make the world a better place. He is an experienced energy sector executive who has spent the majority of his career with Wärtsilä, currently holding the position of Vice President, Wärtsilä Energy in the Middle East and Asia area.
An electrical engineer by training, he holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Frederic has a passion for sharing knowledge about the value of flexible power generation, and he believes in demonstrating studies that provide proof-points for how countries can best shift towards a 100% renewable energy future.
