Eka Satria
Eka Satria, born in 1967, was appointed Director of Medco Power Indonesia in October 2017. Currently, he holds several prominent positions, including Chairman of APLSI (Indonesia Independent Power Producer Asosiasi Produsen Listrik Swasta Indonesia), Head of Mineral Resources and Energy at APINDO (Indonesian Employers’ Association), and Coordinating Vice Chairman of Investment at KADIN (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry).With over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas, power, geothermal, infrastructure, and LNG development sectors, Eka Satria possesses extensive expertise in major project management and business development. His expertise encompasses concept selection, project and construction management, operations management, asset commercialization, project financing, and business development for large-scale and complex projects.Eka Satria joined Medco in 2008 and held several key positions, including Development Director of Medco E&P Indonesia and Vice President of Project Capability at Medco Energi International. Prior to his tenure at Medco, he served as Senior Project Manager at BP Tangguh LNG Upstream and held various development and engineering roles at ARCO, supporting both offshore and onshore projects.Eka Satria’s educational background includes a Master of Civil Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and a Master of Management from the University of Indonesia. He also completed the BP Executive Program – Major Project Leaders at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston.
