David Carera
David is a mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience in the electrical industry worldwide. His career includes various management roles, including product management, marketing and sales within a multinational company. David joined G&W Electric in 2022 as global product line manager for sensors with global responsibility for business growth supporting customers in finding solutions leveraging sensor technology. David is also engaged in a number of partnerships with relays and controller manufacturers to design solutions for power quality monitoring, as well as grid development.
Prior to G&W Electric, David served as global product and marketing manager at ABB, and as R&D manager for MV Service products.
David earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, specialization in fluid dynamics and energy production from University of Bergamo (Italy).
