Daniel K.F. K.F. Tampubolon
Daniel Karmel Fernando Tampubolon has built nearly two decades of experience at PT PLN (Persero) through various technical, operational, and managerial as- signments in power system planning and electricity system management. In his two most recent roles, he served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Enter- prise Risk Management from 2024 to 2025, and Executive Vice President of New and Renewable Energy from 2025 to 2026. These assignments, supported by his extensive earlier experience, have strengthened his competencies in power system planning, infrastructure development, digital transformation, enterprise risk man- agement, and energy transition, which are highly relevant to his current role as Di- rector of System Planning and Transmission.
Beyond his structural assignments at PLN, he has been actively involved in various professional organizations and industry forums, including the Indonesian Renew- able Energy Society, Indonesia Smart Grid Initiative, Indonesian Nuclear Energy Society, SOE Risk Management Forum, HAPUA, the Enlit Asia Advisory Board, and the Advisory Board of the School of Business and Management at Institut Teknologi Bandung. These engagements have broadened his perspective on pol- icy development, cross-institutional collaboration, technological innovation, smart grid implementation, and Indonesia's national energy transition.
