Chengyao Peng
Chengyao Peng leads the APAC power and renewables research in S&P Global Energy, based in Beijing. She specialises in power market fundamentals analysis and outlook, power market design, policy analysis, company strategies, and technology trends. She regularly presents and moderates executive dialogs at prominent industry conferences, including CERAWeek, World Economic Forum, and Energy Asia.
Dr. Peng brings 20 years of vast experience in multinational organizations, state-owned enterprises, and government agencies. Her career began at Singapore’s Public Utilities Board, after which she joined Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city for eco-technologies planning and investment. Dr. Peng spent 10 years at GE prior to joining S&P Global, in both the US and China, and held various roles across GE's energy businesses.
Dr. Peng holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Tongji University, China, a master’s degree from Stanford University, California, and a Ph.D. from Beijing University of Technology, China.
