Chairapee Liengboonlertchai brings a multidisciplinary background in engineering, law and business adminstration. With over 16 years of experience in the energy sector and more than 3 years in the automotive industry.. He specialises in commercial strategy and business development across energy, mobility and emerging innovative sectors.
He currently serves as Chief of the Renewable Energy and Digital Utility Business Development Department at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), where he leads initiatives that drive the transition toward clean energy and digital transformation.
One of his key achievements includes spearheading the development of Thailand's Energy Attribute Certificate (EAC) market. His leadership in this area has enhanced the global competitiveness of Thai enterprises and contributed significantly to the nation's progress toward its Net Zero carbon emissions targets.
Chairapee holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kasetsart University, a Bachelor of Laws from Thammasat University, and a Master's degree from the International MBA Program at Thammasat University.
