Celso Caballero
Mr. Celso C. Caballero III, known as "C3," is the Chief Operating Officer of AboitizPower's Transition Business Group, overseeing the company's critical thermal power generation units across the Philippines. He drives strategic transformation to ensure their reliability, flexibility, and competitiveness, while advancing innovations in coal and baseload technologies, hybrid systems, and battery energy storage (BESS) to strengthen the country's energy security during the transition.
With over a decade of leadership experience within the Aboitiz Group, C3 has served in pivotal roles, including Business Development and Commercial Head of the SN AboitizPower Group, the General Manager of Aboitiz Weather Philippines Foundation, and the President and COO of the AboitizPower Oil Business Unit.
Recognized for his outstanding contributions, C3 has received prestigious accolades, including the esteemed Don Ramon Aboitiz Award of Excellence in 2021. Furthermore, he has been acknowledged as an Outstanding Thomasian Engineer by his alma mater, the University of Sto. Tomas (UST), in recognition of his unwavering commitment to professional excellence. C3 graduated from UST in 1996, having obtained a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Electrical Engineering.
