Budi Wicaksono
Budi is a Shell MIDEL Product Applications Specialist based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with more than 17 years of experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, particularly in the design and manufacture of electrical transformers. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the PLN Institute of Technology (STT-PLN) in Jakarta in 2003.
Prior to joining Shell, Budi's eight-year tenure at Schneider Electric in Cibitung, Indonesia, where he contributed to the delivery of innovative power and distribution transformer projects across the region.
As one of the ester-fluid experts in the APAC region, Budi works closely with Shell MIDEL customers to maximize the total cost-effectiveness of transformer ownership, reduce operational risk, and support the development of safer and more sustainable power networks.
