Bhuwadon Saengsukon
Bhuwadon Saengsukon is a specialist in power system operation and contingency analysis at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), serving as Engineering Level 7 in the Northern Region Operation Division under the Operation Planning Section. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering at Chiang Mai University, Thailand. His work focuses on medium and long-term load
forecasting, high-voltage system contingency assessments, and developing maintenance standards for switchgear in transmission substations. He coordinates planned outages and maintenance activities to ensure minimal impact on system reliability, while also analyzing system vulnerabilities to support grid reinforcement and expansion planning. Currently, he is conducting research on advanced load forecasting methodologies for northern Thailand, aligned with EGAT’s Grid Modernization strategy.
