Apiradee Thammanomai
Apiradee Thammanomai currently serves as Director of the Strategy and Planning Division at Thailand’s Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), leading strategic initiatives to advance alternative energy development. She has held multiple senior roles within DEDE, including Director of the Energy Technology Transfer Division and Head of the Alternative Energy Monitoring and Evaluation Group, as well as engineer-level positions in biofuel development and energy research. Earlier, she served as a Public Sector Development Officer with Thailand’s Office of Public Sector Development Commission.
Apiradee holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, a Master of Arts in Business and Managerial Economics from Chulalongkorn University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang. With extensive experience in energy strategy, technology transfer, and policy development, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to sustainable energy and innovation.
