Anthony Maxwell
Anthony Maxwell is a Principal Energy Specialist with the Southeast Asia Department (SERD) of the Asian Development
Bank (ADB), based in Jakarta, Indonesia. With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, he has led the design, development, and financing of clean energy infrastructure projects across more than 22 countries in the Asia and Pacific region. His extensive career includes over 15 years with ADB, as well as four years as Energy Lead for the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP), an initiative of Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Mr. Maxwell has led and supported complex energy sector transactions and reforms across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, East Asia, and the Pacific. In his current role, he focuses on advancing sustainable energy development and supporting energy transition initiatives in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia.
