Adrian Gonzalez works within the International Renewable Energy Agency, IRENA, as leading Programme Officer on Innovation and End-use sectors, where he promotes global accelerated deployment of renewable energy through systemic innovation. Adrian is a passionate energy transition professional, with background in electrical and industrial engineering, and holder of an Executive MBA on the energy sector. He became a power system expert by working +10 years as power system manager in the Spanish TSO, REE, and later as senior specialist for the European Network of the Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E). He also founded and led during 6 years the innovation and renewable energy consultancy firm Inaltaria.
