Abdullah Zubair Bin Mohd. Razali
Abdullah Zubair Bin Mohd Razali is a leading energy policy strategist currently spearheading regulatory initiatives at Malaysia’s Programme Office for Power Electricity Reform (MyPOWER). As Lead for Energy Resources, he is instrumental in the development of the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Roadmap for Peninsular Malaysia, providing critical policy recommendations to integrate distributed generation and battery storage as well as optimising distribution network flexibility. With a decade of experience in the power sector, he has shaped national energy reforms such as MESI 2.0 and Future Proofing MESI. He holds an MBA from Ohio University and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, blending technical expertise with strategic policymaking. His work continues to drive Malaysia’s transition to a sustainable, decentralized energy future.
