Energy drives us - and it’s been our passion since 1998, when a small, fearless team in the Netherlands set out to create a different kind of meeting place for the sector. What started as a local gathering has grown into Enlit: a community that connects people, projects, and technologies across Europe and beyond.

At Enlit, we believe that siloed thinking won’t deliver the transition. A holistic, systemic approach is needed - and that is why Enlit exists. Our mission is all about humanising the energy transition. As we uncover the sector’s best-kept secrets and its 'next big things', we share the stories of the people behind them, translating complex issues into something everyone can engage with, and making sure no voice is left out.

Through Enlit World, we bring the transition to life every day with articles, podcasts, videos, and fresh insights from across the energy value chain. And once a year, Enlit Europe gathers more than 15,000 professionals under one roof - a flagship summit and expo where ideas are shared, partnerships form, and the future of energy is shaped.
