Megat Jalaluddin leads TNB as President & CEO, driving energy transition agenda

Datuk Ir. Megat Jalaluddin Megat Hassan has taken over as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) as of 1 March 2024. He will lead the organization for the next two years.
As the new CEO of TNB, he will continue the Company’s driving trust to drive TNB’s business growth and operate the Company’s energy transition agenda towards net zero emissions, in line with Malaysia’s carbon neutral goals by 2050 – to build a more sustainable future for future generations.
Prior to this appointment, Megat Jalaluddin previously served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TNB, replacing Dato’ Seri Ir. Baharin Din who ended his tenure on 29 February 2024.
