PLN Icon Plus is a Subholding of PT PLN (Persero), specializing in telecommunications and information technology services. Established in 2000, PLN Icon Plus initially supported PLN’s internal communication needs through the management of the Network Operation Centre in Gandul, Cinere.

As technology evolved, PLN Icon Plus expanded its services by utilizing PLN’s fiber-optic network to provide connectivity solutions for the public, including businesses, institutions, and industries. In 2008, the company leveraged the Right of Way (RoW) of PLN’s electricity network to expand connectivity to various regions, including remote areas, strengthening its position as a national telecommunications network provider.

On September 21, 2022, PLN Icon Plus was officially designated as a PLN Subholding, playing a strategic role in supporting digital transformation through the Beyond kWh concept. Today, PLN Icon Plus focuses on electricity services, digital connectivity, and information technology. By providing modern, innovative, and integrated digital infrastructure and solutions, PLN Icon Plus continues to contribute to accelerating digital transformation and supporting the growth of Indonesia’s digital economy.
